    Friends,

I apologize for my absence – especially during the many crises we’re currently facing. While I am currently working on an update that integrates more resources into this guide, as you can imagine, it is impossible for me to keep up with changes in every agency’s current operations. Therefore, while this guide can serve as a starting point, please call or visit the websites of agencies/programs to get the most current information.

The Genesee County Health Department has a guide (which I’m integrating into this one), which can be found at https://gchd.us/food-community-resources/ The City of Flint also has a page devoted to available resources, which can be found at https://www.cityofflint.com/covid-19/community-resources/

In the meantime, if there are agencies on the guide who have permanently closed, or if there are new agencies that are not on the guide, please use the online form to notify me, or email me directly. If you have already submitted suggestions, I have them, and I am integrating them.

    Thank you,

    Brandon Taylor, MSW
